JCC Collaboration with Babson Global in a Entrepreneurs Project

Coinciding with the International Exhibition and Conference on Higher Education in Riyadh, His Excellency the acting president of KAU, Prof. Abdulrahman Alyoubi has signed a service contract between Jeddah Community College of KAU and Babson Global to train entrepreneurs. This took place on Wednesday 27th Jumada 2, 1436 (16th April 2015). Babson College, which is based in Boston- Massachusetts – USA, is a well-known international pioneer in Entrepreneurship and its applications. Because Babson College delivers their courses in applied method within their strategy “Babson in Entrepreneurship: Theory and Action”, JCC is keen to benefit the experiences of Babson Global and their reputation in the field of Entrepreneurship to design an applied academic program in this field. This program aims to provide the trainees with the required knowledge and skills to enter the independent labor market relying on the experiences, applications and training offered by instructors, training staff, experts and distinguished entrepreneurs. The Dean of JCC, Dr. Ahmad Alabdulwahab declared that the expected outcomes of this project would be:
● preparing and designing a training program with its applications for the future entrepreneurs.
● training the staff who will train the students academically and practically.
● enhancing the capabilities of the trainees towards converting their innovative ideas to marketable ones as professional business makers.
● JCC and Babson Global together will execute and deliver the program to the trainees with following up.
● establishing a directors’ network of businesspersons in the various business fields to support and guide the entrepreneurs to establish their new business.
