Orientation Program in the New Building

Among the process of providing necessary services to the departments in the new building of JCC inside the premises of KAU, the college administrations apply practically the slogan “the student is the first” as keenness to develop the students’  knowledge and skills, and help them to discover their academic and professional future. For this, JCC has held the orientation program for the new students in the academic year 1436-1437. It was on Wednesday 9/9/2015 in the hall surrounded by the classrooms instead of the theater to emphasize the beliefs of JCC to educate their students to be serious, practical, cooperative, efficient, capable to defeat obstacles, initiating and self-confident.                                           

                                            The program started with a direct reactive meeting between the students and JCC Dean, Dr Ahmad Alabdulwahab. The Dean welcomed the new students and congratulate them for the move to the new JCC building after long waiting. In that meeting, the Dean reviewed the development stages of JCC until reaching the international position by awarding JCC students the international professional certificates in the various specializations offered by the college, that enhances JCC graduates’ chances for employment in job market, and moreover to occupy distinguished positions. In addition, the Dean discussed with the students their duties and rights in the university and the ways for them to be distinguished in their study in JCC, besides the available opportunities for them to develop themselves and their skills to join the job market or higher studies. In the meeting, the Dean answered all students’ questions and enquiries in a friendly atmosphere.                                                                      

JCC Vice Dean for development, Dr Mohammad Balubaid welcomed the students and mentioned the distinguished progress of JCC to award their students international professional certificates and its positive influence on their future. This orientation program entertained hosting some representatives of some private companies who cooperate with the college, e.g. Earnest and Young international accountancy company. Also, the program hosted some of the college graduates who acquired the international professional qualifications and who acquired higher studies, to show the new students the promising available future particularly the distinguished ones to work hard and develop their academic merit for their future.

Besides all that, the program reviewed the different specializations, services and students societies available in the college. Finally, a tour in the University buildings and departments was arranged for students to inform them about the activities and services offered by the Deanship of students’ affairs in the University.
