KAU vice president of academic affairs visited JCC

The Dean of King AbdulAziz University Community College, Dr. Ahmad Saleh Abdulwahhab welcomed KAU vice president of academic affairs, His Excellency, Prof.Dr. Abdullah Mafrah Nehar Al-Ziyabi and introduced him to JCC Staff on Feb21, 2017. His Excellency toured JCC campus and visited English language lab, English clinic and well equipped computer labs established for ACCA, CII and Cisco training. He focused on the significant role of community colleges in producing skilled graduates to meet current job market needs.

JCC vice dean Dr.Mohammed Balbaid gave a brief presentation about JCC’s affiliation to different international academies, statistics of graduates every department of JCC produces every year , their recruitment and their range of salaries. He also gave a brief overview of JCC‘s different academic programs and appreciated its efforts to equip JCC graduates with job oriented professional skills. In addition, he suggested that there is a need to open more programs suited to the job market in transportation and construction such as railroads, signals, in collaboration of KAU engineering departments.
